Abstract: In this talk, on one hand, we consider the time-dependent asymptotic behavior of solutions for the wave equation with linear memory on the bounded domain. We first obtain the existence and regularity of the time-dependent global attractor by using the operator decomposition technique along with compactness theorem acting on the history spaces. Second, the asymptotic structure of time- dependent global attractor, which converges to the global attractor of parabolic equation with memory, is proved. Finally, we achieve a further regular result about ut. On the other hand, we present a new concept so called asymptotic contractive process on the time-dependent entire space, and prove that this asymptotic contractive process is pullback asymptotically compact. Besides, exploiting such a new technique we obtain existence of time-dependent global attractors for the plate equations on the unbounded domain.
