Invited by Prof. Chunyou Sun of School of Mathematics and Statistics,
Prof.A. A. Shkalikov of Lomonosov Moscow State University will visit our school and give a lecture during his staying from June 30th to July 6th in 2019.
Title: Multipliers in Sobolev spaces and their applications in the theory of differential operators
Time:10: 20 am, July 3rd, 2019
Location:Lecture Room, Mingdao Building, Medical Compus of Lanzhou Univerisity
Abstract: We will show that the description of the Bessel potential spaces of multipliers plays an important role in solving the problem, which was raised up by L. Faddev, F. Berezin and R. Minlos. The problem is connected with correct definition of elliptic operators with distribution coefficients. The talk is based on the joint papers with Alexey A. Belyaev.
Curriculum Vitae: Prof. A.A.Shkalikov is currently teaching at the Moscow State University. He is the Chairman of Function Theory and Functional Analysis and the Director of the Laboratory of Operator Models and Spectral Analysis. In 1972, he graduated from the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Moscow State University. In 1977, he obtained a Ph.D. in functional analysis from the Moscow State University. In 1987, he obtained a second Ph.D. in functional analysis from the Moscow State University. He won the Moscow Young Scientist Award in 1983 and the first degree award of Lomonosov in 2001.
