Title：New phenomena in the study of nonlinear elliptic equations

Abstract:I shall report on some recent striking results concerning the qualitative analysis of solutions to some classes of nonlinear elliptic equations. The main directions in my talk include the following topics: (i) a discontinuity property of the spectrum for an eigenvalue problem driven by a double-phase operator; (ii) anisotropic problems with mixed subcritical-critical-supercritical regime; and (iii) new results on boundary value problems driven by the Stuart differential operator. Several open problems are raised in the final part of my talk.
