Abstract:In this talk I will give an overview of the classification of the Q-polynomial distance-regular graphs. Also I will present some recent results.

Jack H. Koolen, Dutch, an internationally renowned expert in the field of regular graphs, a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China, a postdoctoral or visiting assistant professor at Kyushu University in Japan, Bielefeld University, Germany, Oxford University, UK, and University of Wisconsin, USA.He is an associate professor at Pohang University of Science and Technology in South Korea. In 2013, he became a full-time professor at the University of Science and Technology of China. He has published more than 150 SCI papers in famous international journals such as Inventiones Mathematicae, Advances in Mathematics, Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series B, Combinerica, European Journal of Combinatorics, SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics, and more than 990 citations in MathSciNet.He has given invitation reports at 15 international conferences, and served as editor-in-chief of SCI journal Graph and Combinatorics and editors of Designs, Codes and Cryptography.
